Games: A learning Tool
First round draft pick Amobi Okoye, when starting to play football, didn't have a clue about the rules. He picked up a copy of Madden NFL football, and quickly learned.
This kid from Nigeria is extremely bright. The progression is astounding; High school at 12, college at 15, first round NFL draft pick at 19.
Just having picked up a Steering Wheel for the 360, I wonder if that will make me a better driver or a better crasher?
Do you guys have any other games where game skill directly correlates to real world skill?
While he had the physical abilities, he didn't understand the rules of the game. So what did the coach do? Gave him Madden Football (a very popular video game series from Electronic Arts) and told him to go play. It makes me wonder what commercial-off-the-shelf games we could be using to help our employees understand the rules of the game.

And vinneeee, that new steering wheel probably makes you a better crasher. I'm not sure that anything could make [i]you[/i] a better driver.
